 News Note: WSU STIET faculty member, Robert Reynolds, STIET fellow Leonard Kinniard-Heether, and REU student Tracy Liu won first place in the IEEE Super Mario Competition and best student paper prize at the 2010 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence in Barcelona, Spain.

Yagil Engel is a PhD student in the computer science department, AI laboratory. He came to Michigan after several years of work in the software industry, in which he developed auction and sourcing systems for the bay area companies TradingDynamics and Ariba. His current research interests are in decisions with multiple objectives, focusing on compact utility representation and utility aggregation in the multi attribute case.
