Dushyant Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Industrial and Operations Engineering Department. He received his PhD degree in Operations Research from MIT. Professor Sharma's research interests are in modeling and algorithm development for discrete and network optimization. His current research is focused on stochastic search techniques for solving combinatorial optimization problems. He has worked in the past on problems in the areas of airline and railroad planning, manufacturing, and telecommunication network design.
