 News Note: WSU STIET faculty member, Robert Reynolds, STIET fellow Leonard Kinniard-Heether, and REU student Tracy Liu won first place in the IEEE Super Mario Competition and best student paper prize at the 2010 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence in Barcelona, Spain.

Hila Etzion, assistant professor of business information technology, earned a PhD in computers and information systems (2005) and MS (2003) from the Simon School of Business Administration, University of Rochester, and BS in industrial engineering and management (1999) from The Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel. Etzion’s research interests include the role of information technology in supply chain optimization, online auctions, marketing on the Web, e-procurement and business-to-business exchanges.
